t’s time for another episode of Lunch with Arlene.  When we last left The Diva, she was talking on the phone arranging for another lunch.  Arlene has had to tone it down until she receives her transplant, but she’s toning it up whenever a RadGrad63 is involved. Breakfast, lunch, dinner or dessert, Arlene is there to meet and greet classmates everywhere!

Here’s the latest Diva Doings, something she started in 1993. Once she learned to master the digital camera, photos came in faster, because Arlene learned how to “attach” a photo.  Thank goodness!  Gives your WebMama’s scanner a rest!

Enjoy the Lunch with the Diva.  Who knows, you too can be seen up here by your grandkids one day.

It all began because the girl was hungry for Italian...

September 2007 –  The Diva was busy in 2007; The Idiots Take on Oregon!

The Usual Bunch of Idiots called a meeting and reunion in Portland, Oregon, home of Arlene and many other RadGrads.  The Idiots visited Timberline Lodge (where The Shining was filmed), on to Crater Lake National Park, the Oregon Coast (sorry, Oregonians, but the Pacific from Hawaii looks a lot calmer and  colorful.

2007 –  October, Radford’s 50th Jubilee in Honolulu

The 50th Jubilee of Radford High School was a week of events.  Bud and Arlene and Lyman and Jane came directly from the idiots Reunion in Portland and stayed with WebMama and Rollie’s home.  What a glorious time, but we needed the biggest idiots of them all, Jan Smith and Dick Olivas.

The blonde lady in both pictures (don't you think we have a Bette look-alike?) is none other than Arlene's sister, Carolyn Stout Odell (RadGrad65), who is an honorary member of the Class of 1963. She was with the Idiots in Portland when we invaded Arlene and Bud's home.

The greatest breakfast lunch and dinner of all!  Ay left is the love of her life, grandson Daniel in 2007.  At right, Daniel in late 2008.

OK, ok, WebMama will have to seriously consider Daniel as the No. 1 suitor for her granddaughter Sadie.

2005 Surprise Birthday Party for the Queen of Lunch

Arlene’s family put on a surprise 60th party in September 2005 in Portland.  Mary Anne Tibbets Stubenburg was there along with Jackie Williams and Arlene’s new little grandson, the handsome Daniel
